Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River Review

Bangkok's riverside oasis, Four Seasons Bangkok, designed by award-winning architect and interior designer Jean-Michel Gathy.  A true getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, tucked right in the heart of the city with spectacular views of the Chao Phraya River, the hotel offers an unparalleled level of relaxation and an exclusive ambiance for the perfect stay.

The Design

The Four Seasons Bangkok Hotel is a luxurious stay that takes inspiration from its location on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Renowned architect, Jean-Michel Gathy, has incorporated elements of water throughout the hotel's design to create a harmonious and tranquil oasis in the midst of the bustling city. From the calming water features in the lobby to the stunning infinity pool that appears to merge with the river, guests are able to fully immerse themselves in the concept of water as a source of relaxation and rejuvenation

The Room

I stayed in the premier river-view room. The tastefully decorated room has a breathtaking view of the serene Chao Phraya River, providing a tranquil escape from the city below. The floor to ceiling windows give guests unparalleled views of the city and river. It's equipped with a relaxing bathtub and BYREDO amenities, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Amenities

For those seeking the ultimate urban retreat, Four Seasons Bangkok's wellness centre is designed to help you unwind and rejuvenate in style. The centre features a 35-metre (115-foot) lap pool, perfect for a refreshing swim and a great way to keep active during your stay. After your swim, indulge in a range of spa treatments, visit the hair salon, or head to the barbershop for a groom. The nail bar is also available for those who want to keep their hands and feet in tip-top shape.

The gym here is equally impressive with state of the art machines from Technogym along with a separate yoga studio and outdoor boxing ring. For those that are strict on your fitness routines, you won’t be disappointed with the gym here.

Dining

Four Seasons Bangkok Hotel boasts a variety of world-class dining options to suit every palate. The standout among the restaurants is Yu Ting Yuan, the first and only Cantonese establishment in Thailand to be awarded a coveted Michelin star, making it a must-visit for discerning foodies.

BKK Social Club is the main bar on property and was named the 14th best bar in the world by The World's 50 Best Bars. Once inside and you'll be transported to another time and place. The sociable ambience of the club echoes the legendary glamour of Buenos Aires, a city known for its vibrant social scene.

At the heart of this charming atmosphere is the signature drink, Evita. This delicious cocktail celebrates one of the most iconic Argentinian characters, her story lending a unique flavor to this exquisite drink. As you sip on an Evita, you'll be swept away into a world of culture and excitement that is unlike anything else in Bangkok. For a taste of glamour and sophistication that will transport you to a far-off land, there's no better place to be than the BKK SOCIAL CLUB.

I had a truly amazing experience at Four Seasons Bangkok. After a long day of exploring the hustle and bustle of Bangkok city, it was such a delight to come home to the serene and calming atmosphere that this hotel provides. The wellness center is simply unbeatable and made it inevitable that I'd leave the premises with a refreshed body and soul. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, you will surely appreciate the convenience and luxury that this hotel has to offer. Thanks to its convenient location in Bangkok, Four Seasons Bangkok is also easily accessible from many tourist attractions, so you can make every day a different adventure during your stay.
